Bodog Poker Open III will be the Biggest Ever

Since its inception back in the spring of 2008, the Bodog Poker Open has become the premier event for Bodog’s poker room.  Bodog dishes out hundreds of thousands of dollars to its players every 6 months through the BPO.  If you’d like to get in on the action then you can do so by signing up for Bodog Poker using the POKERWORKS bonus code to get the 110% deposit bonus up to $500.

After signing up, you’ll be eligible for the Bodog Poker Open III which has been set for the spring of 2009.  This promises to be the biggest BPO ever as Bodog will continue its tradition of increasing the prize pool for the Main Event.  And the great thing is that they are already giving out free seats to the Main Event.

The conclusion of the “12 Days of Poker” promotion Bodog has been running will see three free Main Event seats given out.  And this is only the beginning as Bodog Poker plans on giving many more seats for the Bodog Poker Open III Main Event before it begins in the spring of 2009.

The first Bodog Poker Open took place in March of 2008 and saw 6 different events take place.  The last one was the Bodog Poker Open Main Event and it had a prize pool of $305,120.   596 players participated in the first BPO and 54 players cashed with “phatcat” taking the largest share at $76,280.  Overall, Bodog paid $675,000 in prize money over the course of the 6 tournament event.

The Bodog Poker Open II happened in October of 2008 and promised to be even bigger than the first one since a total of 14 tournaments took place this time around.  In all, the 14 tournaments surpassed the first BPO after generating an amount of $737,478 and the Main Event paid out $300,000.   The Main Event winner was “zubs1aa” who took home $75,000 after finishing in first place.

No official details are known on the amount of tournaments the Bodog Open III will have, but the event is supposed to be much bigger than the BPO II.  And all you have to do to be eligible to win free seats for the Bodog Poker Open III Main Event is sign up using the POKERWORKS bonus code.

In addition to being able to participate in the BPO III, as well as win free Main Event seats, you will also be able to enter the $100,000 Guaranteed which happens every Sunday at 4:00 pm ET.  This tournament has a buy-in of $100 + $9 and it is one of the best values in the online poker industry since Bodog consistently puts its own money into the pool to make sure there is $100,000.  Last week’s winner took home $23,600 which is over 216 times the buy-in amount!

People can even freeroll their way into the $100,000 Guaranteed tournament by using their Bodog Poker Points.  You can also satellite your way in with as little as $1!
