What a dream it would be to wake up everyday and have the freedom to do whatever you wish and make as much money as you want.  Unfortunately, most people never even come close to this dream since they are stuck in boring 9-5 jobs.  Professional poker players, on the other hand, do live this dream since they have no scheduled hours and can work whenever they want.  This is why many people spend countless hours studying strategy and working on their game so they can become a pro poker player one day.

But the question is, why spend all of these hours studying and practicing when you can just become a sponsored professional poker player in an instant at Pacific Poker?  PokerWorks, in an exclusive partnership with PokerNews, has joined up with Pacific Poker to offer people the chance to earn pro poker player status and have all of their expenses paid at major events.

The deal is called “PokerProForAYear” and, as the name implies, the winner of this competition gets to experience life as a poker professional for an entire year.  As a Pacific Poker pro, the winner will be sponsored in four major poker tournaments, have their buy-ins, flights, expenses, and accommodations taken care of, and be given a personal blog to write about their experiences as a professional poker player.

This deal is worth over $50,000 and those who wish to become a poker pro should sign up for Pacific Poker using the POKERWORKS bonus code so that they get the 100% deposit bonus up to $400 with 25% of the bonus given upfront.  Even those who don’t finish first in the competition can still get sponsored by Pacific Poker in major tournaments.

The second place finisher in the PokerProForAYear contest will get sponsored in the Aussie Millions event.  This prize package is worth $15,000 and includes the Main Event buy-in, plane tickets, and accommodations.  The third place finisher will earn $1,000 in buy-in money for the Pacific Poker Global Qualifier tournaments.  These are the freeroll tourneys where people play to qualify for a chance at winning the PokerProForAYear competition.  The more series a person plays in, the higher they will be on the PokerProForAYear leaderboard which means they will have a shot at playing for the top prize.

It’s also very important to note that the winner of each series will earn sponsorship packages to different land-based tournaments.  The last PokerProForAYear contest just recently finished up and the prize packages offered were as follows:

Series 1 winner - $8,500 EPT Dortmund prize package
Series 2 winner - $15,000 WPT Grand Prix de Paris prize package
Series 3 winner - $12,000 WSOP prize package
Series 4 winner - $10,000 EPT London prize package
Series 5 winner - $12,000 Aussie Millions prize package
Series 6 winner - $12,000 Aussie Millions prize package

If you’d like a shot at winning one of these amazing prize packages, or even the professional player sponsorship deal, then sign up for Pacific Poker using the POKERWORKS bonus code so you can get into the next competition.  And remember, this deal is only offered through PokerWorks in an exclusive partnership with PokerNews.
