Despite the fact that it is home to a large percentage of poker players, the nation of Italy has never hosted a live World Poker Tour event.  But all of this is set to change when the WPT hosts its first ever live tournament in Venice, Italy during May.  What’s really cool about WPT Venice 2009 is that it will be held in the Casino di Venezia which is situated right on Venice’s Grand Canal and is one of the most unique and stunning casinos in the world.
