Full Tilt Fever: May 6 Approaches With FTOPS XII and MiniFTOPSIt’s time! The 12th installment of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) is fast approaching, and the timing couldn’t be better. As major live tournaments wrap up around the globe and poker players everywhere settle down before the madness of the 2009 World Series of Poker, FTOPS begins on May 6th.

Not only is it the biggest online poker series on the internet and offers more than $18 million in guarantees over the course of the 25 events, but the online tournaments provide the opportunity for ideal practice games before the WSOP. And those who are able to finish in the money - or better yet, win an FTOPS event - have more funds with which to play the WSOP events this summer. And during this time when summer plans are being made and days are being spent with loved ones before the WSOP, what better way to use some of those idle hours at home than to play some poker on Full Tilt?

The reasons to play the FTOPS series are many, but some added incentives are the FTOPS Challenges, which give players chances to win more prizes and notoriety in the online poker community, and the opportunity to play with some of the biggest names in the game like the members of Team Full Tilt and other Full Tilt pros.

If you need no more convincing, download Full Tilt Poker now and set up that account. Time is ticking as FTOPS approaches! And by using the special bonus code “POKERWORKS” when signing up, players also qualify for an extra 100% bonus on any deposit up to $600.

Think that some of the buy-ins are too much for your starting or struggling bankroll? No fear, the MiniFTOPS is here and will run its tournaments on Full Tilt Poker concurrently with the FTOPS events. For only 1/10th of the buy-ins, players can compete in the same wide variety of games and amazing guarantees at a limit that works for them.

And don’t forget about satellites! There are satellites for all FTOPS and MiniFTOPS tournaments running around the clock up until the time of each event, allowing players to win their seats at a mere fraction of the buy-ins.

Full Tilt Poker is ready to bring the full online tournament experience with their 12th FTOPS, including a leaderboard to track the progress of you and your favorite players, as well as a complete list of results of each event as they conclude. Players who make the final table of any FTOPS event will not only be assured of serious money in their online accounts but each will receive a limited-edition FTOPS jacket for their performances. Winners receive even more - a gold FTOPS jersey and gold jersey avatar to use on Full Tilt Poker.

As mentioned, the games begin on May 6 with Event #1, a $200 + $16 No-Limit Hold’em 6-max tournament hosted by none other than Erick Lindgren. Each subsequent event is hosted by a Full Tilt pro, up to and including the big main event on Sunday, May 17 - a $500 + $35 NLHE tournament hosted by Jennifer Harman with a $2.5 million guarantee for the prize pool.

For your convenience, here is the list of FTOPS tournaments once more, and don’t forget that the MiniFTOPS tournaments run on the same schedule with 1/10th of the buy-ins of each event listed here:
