It is most definitely an online poker fan favorite. The Full Tilt Online Poker Series is currently running its twelfth installment, something for which players have been saving their online bankrolls since the last FTOPS in February. And it was Smith who ultimately took down Event 7, the $100 NLHE tournament with rebuys. His ultimate win over second place finisher UW14 garnered him a $123,600 first place prize for the Full Tilt Pro player, and it was his first significant online poker tournament victory. As he wrote in the chat box after the win, “Wow, my firstever online tourney win! Kinda sweet!”

Other winners in the first eight events included masp797, nypitbull24, Leopard18, 67ofspades, michaelsc, and benba. All FTOPS XII winners receive special edition FTOPS gold jackets and gold avatars for use on Full Tilt Poker, in addition to the prize money.

A look at the FTOPS XII schedule showed tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $100 to $2,500, but in order to make the excitement available to all online players, the MiniFTOPS was running concurrently with the major events. Those events are of the same variety - matching the game lineup exactly - but offer buy-ins at 1/10th the cost.
