Win your way to the Ultimate Paradise – Aruba

Ultimate Bet Poker just keeps the great promotions rolling.  While there is still time left to win a seat in the Main Event of the World Series of Poker, Ultimate Bet Poker is now gearing up to send you to the next big event of the year – The 2009 Aruba Classic.

This is without a doubt one of the most popular events of the year with poker players, and the reason is obvious – Aruba! Sporting gorgeous white sand beaches and breathtaking scenery, Aruba is a dream come true vacation spot. Throw in a major tournament event and you have a combination that can’t be beat. While there may be some tournament venues that players overlook, The Aruba Classic is never one of them. Not only do players flock to Aruba for the not to be missed heavenly locale, but for the tournament action with the huge prize pools, where winning could make you an instant millionaire.

At the event last year, Matt Brady from Havertown, PA, showed everyone that even though he was only 27 years old, he knew his stuff when he walked away with the $1 Million Dollar first place win. Poker in Paradise just doesn’t get any better than that!

The 2009 Aruba Classic schedule has just been released and once again it will be held at the lavish Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino and Spa. Even without a fantastic poker tournament thrown in, the Radisson is the ultimate vacation destination all on its own. And no matter what you expect to find in Aruba, the Radisson won’t disappoint. The first thing you notice when you check-in and get settled in your room is the lavish amenities the Radisson offers their guests. From four-poster beds and bathrobes to the views of the luscious natural surroundings, your room will exceed the comforts of your own home. And with High-Speed Internet, you can stay in touch with all those poor souls you left behind. Then there are the unlimited activities which are second to none.

When you aren’t doing battle on the green felt, get rid of all that tension from action packed tournament excitement by working out in the fitness center or giving yourself a relaxing spa treatment.  The Larimar Spa is located at the Radisson and has been rated one of the hottest spas in the entire Caribbean and in 2007 was named a Hot Spa by Condé Nast Traveler. Then maybe it will be time to try your luck at the casino, or learn to scuba in Aruba and explore the undersea wonders that await you right off the Aruban tropical beaches. Or maybe you would rather take off on a Jeep safari, or maybe a round of golf, then sailing in the sunset, which are just a few of the myriad of options available while vacationing at this luxury Aruba resort.

With all of this waiting for you in Aruba, poker could almost become secondary – if it wasn’t the Aruba Classic .

What promises to be the most exciting Caribbean poker tournament ever will kick off October 3rd and run until the 10th, which is a week later than last year. These dates reflect the schedule change so that WSOPE (World Series of Poker Europe) players will not have to choose attending one event or the other. Now the Aruba Classic will start when the WSOPE is over, giving poker players the time needed to play in both events. Last year Phil Helmuth missed the Aruba Classic, but he will be sure to be there this year to attend a special anniversary celebration. Not only is Ultimate Bet celebrating their 10th anniversary, but Helmuth will be celebrating his - the 20th year since he won his first WSOP bracelet. This is a party you won’t want to miss and even though October may sound like a long time from now, it’s time you started planning your vacation in paradise!

Ultimate Bet Poker has begun running Step Satellite Tournaments where you can qualify for a seat at the 2009 Aruba Classic and win a prize package worth $8,500! And there will be a whole schedule of satellites on tap coming up soon on Ultimate Bet Poker. So stay tuned to PokerWorks for all the latest ways for you to vacation in paradise this fall!
