As anyone can tell by the massive influx of poker news pieces about the World Series of Poker in recent weeks, the 2009 WSOP is well underway at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The events are flying by, and that puts the main event less than three weeks away, leaving just one question: Do you have your $10K main event seat yet?

It is the largest poker tournament in the world, with prestige that outweighs any other in the poker industry. Not only does the ultimate winner get a great deal of ESPN television coverage and become poker’s ambassador for a year, but there are millions of dollars awaiting the ultimate poker champion. Those who follow poker already know the benefits of winning the WSOP main event, though only a select few know what it feels like to win it. But as the time approaches, it is the one tournament that everyone wants their shot at.

Full Tilt Poker has opportunities like no other online poker site. After having qualified well over 500 players for chances at various 2009 WSOP tournaments, including the $10K main event, time is running out. Specifically, the Main Event Shootout Tournaments have been held twice daily since March 9 but will soon hit its stop deadline of June 21. Only a few days remain to get your hands on a prize package that not only includes a seat into the main event but $2,000 in travel and expense money for the trip to Las Vegas.

After downloading Full Tilt Poker and setting up your account on the site (and using the bonus code “POKERWORKS” to qualify for an extra 100% bonus on any deposit up to $600), go to the tournament lobby on the site and look for the Main Event Shootout Tournaments. The events run each day at 15:30 ET and 21:30 ET and are limited to 81 players in each tournament.

Shootouts are played like sit-n-go tournaments, and each table is set up to find one winner. The winner from the first round goes on to the final table, and the last player standing will win the $12K main event prize package and be on their way to Las Vegas. Anyone is allowed to enter the shootouts for a buy-in of $200 + $16, but keep in mind that there are satellites running around the clock that allow players to enter for as little as $1 or 50 Full Tilt Points. Many players have already translated their relatively small number of Full Tilt Points into packages worth $12,000, and you could be next!

And for those who have already scored a $10,000 main event seat through Full Tilt, keep playing because a victory in a Main Event Shootout Tournament will allow you to keep $10,000 as a credit in your Full Tilt account while still cashing in on the $12K prize package.

Don’t delay, as the promotion will end on Sunday, June 21. Download Full Tilt Poker today and win your way into the biggest poker tournament in the world!
