Bodog Mini Series is awarding 2010 WSOP Seats

It’s every poker player’s dream to hop on a plane to Las Vegas and participate in the World Series of Poker.  But the thing keeping most poker players from fulfilling this dream is the fact that they don’t have enough money to participate in the WSOP.  Luckily, there are many other options available during this time in the world of online poker.  And one of the best options is the Bodog Mini Poker Series.

What’s great about the Bodog Mini Poker Series is that it allows people to play in numerous big money poker tournaments for a fraction of what it would cost to be in a WSOP event.  In addition to the big money that’s available in the Bodog Mini Poker Series, there is also a Tournament Leaderboard where the top players will move on to the 2009 Bodog Mini Poker Series Final Tournament.

This is where people will battle for one of the first 2010 WSOP Main Event seats to be given out.  Whoever wins this seat will receive a $12,000 prize package which includes a $10,000 Main Event seat in the 2010 WSOP along with $2,000 left over for travel expenses.  Plus you’ll get to be a member of Team Bodog, have your progress tracked in the Bodog Beat, and receive tons of free merchandise too.

If you’re interested in participating in the 2009 Bodog Mini Poker Series then sign up for Bodog Poker using the POKERWORKS bonus code.  By using this bonus code you’ll not only ensure that you get to play in all of the Mini Poker Series events, but you’ll also get a deposit bonus of 110% up to $500.

Once you’ve signed up for Bodog you’ll be eligible for the Mini Poker Series.  This series is set to run from July 3rd to July 15th and will be comprised of thirteen different $10 + $1 tournaments.  The top 30% of finishers from each tourney will receive points based on their finish which will be used to rank them on the Tournament Leaderboard.  Once the qualifying series is over there will be two additional tournaments in the Mini Series Semifinal (July 21st) and the Bodog Mini Poker Series Final Tournament (July 23rd).

You can earn your way into the Final Tournament free of charge by finishing in the top 10 of the Tournament Leaderboard standings or by finishing in the top 18 of the Mini Series Semifinal tourney.  Once in the Final Tournament you’ll have the chance to not only win the $12,000 WSOP prize package, but other prizes as well.  Second and third place will receive a Bodog Open IV prize package which will get them into every BPO IV event free of charge.

The 4th and 5th place players will get a buy-in to any Bodog Flight Club Semifinal tournament they wish to participate in which is valued at $270.  Sixth through ninth place will earn free entry into the $100,000 Guaranteed which happens every Sunday at 4 pm.  With all of the great prizes available in the Bodog Mini Poker Series, it is definitely a good idea to get in on it before July 3rd.
