There is one question that is commonly asked at every online poker room – Who are the best players?  Unfortunately, not every room has the means of settling this argument, and so players are left to merely debate about who the top players are.  But Bodog Poker doesn’t leave this question up to debate as things are sorted out on their Leaderboards.

Bodog provides its players with Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly Leaderboards for the purpose of seeing who the best players are, and also to see who will get the big prizes they give out through the Leaderboards.  As long as you can place among the top players on any of the 3 Leaderboards, you’re in for some major rewards.

Beginning with the Weekly Leaderboards, the first place finisher at the end of the week will earn the opportunity to play one of the Bodog Poker Pros in a heads-up match for $1,000.  And it doesn’t matter whether it’s David Williams, Evelyn Ng, Justin Bonomo, or Jean Robert-Bellande because, as long as you win, you’ll be at least $1,000 richer.  Of course every time the cash is not won, the money goes back into the progressive prize pool.  The pool grew so large one time that a player earned $16,000 for beating a Bodog Pro!

Even if you don’t finish first on the Weekly Leaderboard, you can still earn some decent prizes for placing 2nd through 15th.  2nd and 3rd place players will get 270 tournament credits, 4th and 5th get 110 tournament credits, 6th through 10th place earn 50 tourney credits while 11th through 15th place get 25 tournament credits.

Moving onto the Monthly Leaderboard, the 1st place player will earn an entry into the Monthly TLB Poker Freeroll that takes place on January 10th, 2010.  Each Monthly Leaderboard winner will be placed in a 2-table, 6-handed Sit & Go poker tournament where the top 2 players will win a $12,000 prize package to the 2010 WSOP Main Event.  Getting back to the Monthly Leaderboard finishers, 2nd place will receive 540 tournament credits, 3rd through 5th place earn 380 tournament credits, and 6th through 10th place get 110 tourney credits.

The top Yearly Leaderboard finishers will also be able to grab some awesome prizes too.  The first place finisher will automatically receive a $12,000 prize package to the 2010 WSOP Main Event.  Second place will get $3,000 worth of tournament credits, 3rd will receive $2,000 worth of tourney credit, 4th and 5th place will both get $1,000 worth of tournament entries.  Sixth through 10th place will all earn between $900 and $500 in tourney credits.

If you’d like to get involved in all of the exciting Leaderboard action at Bodog, then you should sign up for Bodog Poker using the POKERWORKS bonus code.  After signing up with the POKERWORKS bonus code you’ll immediately earn the 110% deposit bonus up to $500 after your first deposit.  Once you’re signed up, then it’s time to start climbing the Leaderboards and winning those fantastic prizes!
