Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars set out to beat records on Sunday, the 19th of July. First Full Tilt announced it intended to break the 35,000 player Guinness World Record breaker accomplished by PokerStars earlier this year when Full Tilt wrapped up its Fifth Birthday promotion with a special massive tournament called The Record Breaker. Full Tilt’s tournament had great overlays, a $5 buy-in (and players could use frequent player points also) with a cap of 50,000 players.

And hosting a main event with the World Poker Tour name will draw the players, no matter their levels of exhaustion or frustration with poker.
