A token is a representation of an event, a memento, something used to indicate authenticity. Everest Poker doesn’t give away tokens lightly; they must be earned by players who are dedicated and intent upon using them for the purposes of improving their game and moving up the online poker ladder. But the popular online site has now opened up the production of tokens for its latest promotion, and players can more easily earn their benefits via Token Frenzy.

It’s all part of the VIP Summit Club, which is a way for players to earn special bonuses through frequent play and special promotions. Enrollment in the Summit Club takes only moments, and players then compete to climb the club’s tier program. Players who join in August - only days remain! - can earn their first free Steps Token, which allows them to move up to the proper tier to gather another token in September, then another in October.

The token are worth entries into tournaments, whether players choose to use them in sit-n-go’s or major tournaments, such as the $500,000 Guaranteed tournament or those qualifiers that are awarding seats to the Spanish Poker Tour. As much as $400 worth of tokens can be collected to use as the players please, with each tier’s token being worth more and more. For example, in September, the base camp level awards a Step 2 token worth $10, the camp one level awards a Step 3 token worth $33, and the camp two level is a Step 4 token worth $107, and so on.

All players have to do is go to the “bonus” section of the “account” menu and enter the bonus code “FREETOKENS” anytime before August 31. All of the specifics are there as to the tokens and their subsequent awards.
