The richest live poker tournament series in Europe is back for Season 6, and with the EPT Barcelona stop now in the history books, players are now packing to set out for the next stop in London, for what is shaping up to be the biggest poker festival ever to grace the UK.

A total of 16 events are on the schedule for the PokerStars.com EPT London Poker Festival which will run from September 30th through October 7th.  Joining in on the EPT action in London will be poker pros like the EPT London defending champion, Michael Martin. Also on hand will be Jason Mercier, the winner of the EPT London Season 5 High Roller event. To round out the pro roster, PokerStars Team members such as former world champions Chris Moneymaker, Greg Raymer, Joe Hachem, and current world champion Peter Eastgate will also be flying to London to take their seats.

The London event will also give European poker fans their first glimpse of a few of the ‘November Nine’ when World Series of Poker finalists Kevin Schaffel,  Joe Cada and Eric Buchman take their seats in the £5,300 EPT London main event.

This will also mark the first time the EPT London will be held away from the Grosvenor Victoria Casino, which has been home to this event since it started. PokerStars made the venue move to the Hilton Metropole Hotel in an effort to provide more variety to the tournament events.

The Festival is set to kick off on September 30th with the action packed EPT London £20k High Roller event, which was won last year by American Jason Mercier. Proving you don’t have to be an old hand to win, the youngster bested a field of tough pros including Daniel Negreanu, Scotty Nguyen, Gus Hansen and John Juanda to take down the first place win and $905,141. This year Mercier will be back to defend his crown and you can be there to watch him!

•    Step 1 - $7.50 cash or 500 FPPs  buy-in
•    Step 2 - $27 or 1,750 FPPs or ticket buy-in
•    Step 3 - $82, ticket or 5,125 FPPs buy-in
•    Step 4 - $215, ticket or 13,500 FPPs buy-in
•    Step 5 - $700 or a ticket buy-in
•    Step 6 - $2,100 or a ticket buy-in where only 10 players compete for a prize package.
