The Live the Dream contest ultimately allows ten players to become Everest-sponsored players for a one-year period that sends them to locations around the world to participate in some of the biggest tournaments. There are three ways for players to enter, and 200 of the applicants will qualify for Live the Dream casting. But first, all players have to opt into the Live the Dream contest on their profile pages in order to be eligible. From there, the work begins.

Tournament players can qualify through the Everest Poker tournament leaderboard, as the top three players on the multi-table board and the top two from the sit-n-go board will qualify for casting each week. Ring game players must earn Summit Points, and the top three no-limit hold’em players and top two limit hold’em players each week with the most points will win their way into the casting circle. And lastly, Direct Entry tournaments will be held for numerous countries, and a total of 104 players will be chosen from those $100 + $9 buy-in events.

When the 200 players are chosen and arrive in Vienna, Austria, the casting process will begin. Each player will then be judged on his or her online poker skills from September 14 through November 23, live poker results and style during the SNG tournaments in Vienna, popular voting via the Live the Dream website where the public can vote on players’ profiles, and finally interviews in Vienna that judge ambassador quality that sponsored players must possess. The voting process can be found on the website, and anyone is allowed to compete, but they will have to work for the sponsorship deals.
