Sunday was a big day for sports on FOX TV and it wasn’t all about Football. Whether you watched the Bengals beat the Ravens, the Cowboys cream the Chiefs, the Steelers stomp the Lions or the Patriots pound the Broncos; none of those games were as fun to watch as the FOX debut of the PokerStars.net Million Dollar Challenge.

In the west, the 49ers folded to the Falcons, but that was nothing compared to what came next - Father Andrew taking out the PokerStars Pro Team. Following the NFL games, FOX TV premiered their highly anticipated PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge.

The premise of the show is similar to a game show, but instead of contestants answering questions to win, they face off heads-up against three professional poker players from team PokerStars.  In round one, PokerStars pro Daniel Negreanu acts as poker coach, sitting beside the contestant and giving pointers on how to play the hands. If the contestant wins this round and defeats the PokerStars Team pro, they will win a trip to the PokerStars.net Caribbean Adventure (PCA) to play in the main event. Then comes the decision to continue or not because if the contestant loses either of the first two rounds, they walk away empty handed.

In round two, Negreanu is there again, in a glass booth communicating with his student via headsets. If the contestant wins the second match-up they win $25,000 in cash and have a decision to make; to butt heads in round three with his mentor Negreanu for $100,000 guaranteed - or walk away with the cash and the PCA prize package.

In the inaugural event, Father Andrew, a poker playing priest from South Carolina went all the way and opted to keep going, which will see him taking a seat in the final. The round four final will have the Father going head to head once again with Negreanu - for the grand prize of a Million Dollars.

If all of this sounds like a dream come true, a chance to risk it all and become a millionaire, then this is your chance to be on the PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge! All you need to do to mark your spot for fame and fortune on TV is play in any of the PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge daily FreeRoll tournaments and finish in the top ten. The FreeRolls run four times a day, every evening at 8, 9 10 and 11pm ET and can be found in the PokerStars lobby in the ‘Tourney’ and ‘Regional’ tabs. Once you come in the top 10 in one of the FreeRolls, then just submit a short video, explaining why PokerStars should choose you to be on the show. And just like the poker playing priest, you too could go all the way towards your million dollar payday!

And just to make sure Daniel Negreanu never really loses, for each of the first two rounds that a contestant wins, PokerStars will donate $10,000 to charity. If the poker Pro happens to win Round 1, they will earn $5,000 for their favorite charity, and if the Pro wins Round 2, they will win $10,000 for their charity – making it a win-win for all of the players.

But that’s not the only winners PokerStars will be paying off - because you can win too! By just watching the next PokerStars.net Million Dollar Challenge this Sunday October 18th after the NFL game on Fox, you could play for part of $20,000 FREE!
