If it seems like the last Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) just ended, it was actually two months ago! Where does the time go? Evidently, it goes into planning FTOPS XIV, which is already on the schedule and will begin on November 4. And as with each series, it looks to be bigger and better than the last.
FTOPS XIV boasts of more than $16 million in prize money over the course of 25 events, but it should be noted that the estimate for the previous FTOPS
was surpassed as the cumulative prize pool climbed over the $18.5 million mark. With the statistics showing that nearly 57,000 players took part in the last one, it bodes well that players will be flocking to the virtual tables in the tens of thousands come November 4.
The series of 25 events will offer everything from no-limit hold’em to Omaha, from shootout to turbo events, and from 7-game mixed to heads-up tournaments. And the buy-ins range from $100 to $2,500, offering a bit of something for every type of player and bankroll. Again, players will find the two-day event opportunity with a $2 million prize pool attached, and the Main Event will guarantee at least $2.5 million up for grabs.
Every event of FTOPS XIV will be hosted by a Full Tilt Pro. Players making the final table of any event will receive a limited-edition FTOPS jacket, but winners will also receive a gold FTOPS jersey and avatar for use on Full Tilt Poker.
