Poker Stars LAPT Qualifiers are Running Now

The Latin American Poker Tour is gearing up for Season 3, which will last six months and see the popular poker tour hitting some beautiful Latin American locales. And if past success is any measure of what Season 3 has in store, it promises to be even bigger and better than ever.

When Season 2 of the Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) wrapped up, 1,053 players from around the world had participated, all vying for a chunk of the $4,045,350 total Main Event prize pools. Several of the players who attended the amazing LAPT events won their way to the events by winning online qualifiers at PokerStars – and this year so can you!

A full schedule of LAPT satellite qualifiers are now available daily at Poker Stars, where winners will be awarded LAPT prize packages that will provide everything you need to make your play to be crowned the next LAPT champion. Prize packages include your Main Event buy-in, hotel accommodation and money for travel expenses. Plus you could even make it to the Latin American Poker Tour for FREE by playing in the Poker Stars FreeRoll qualifiers!

Be there when the LAPT Playa Conchal Season 3 kicks off at the Paradisius Playa Conchal Resort from November 19th through November 22nd.  The best part will be that because you won your seat by playing at Poker Stars, you won’t have to shell out the $2,500+$200 buy-in! And with a small field capped at 350 participants, you won’t have many opponents to beat!

Finding the LAPT satellites to play in is easy, just go to the Poker Stars lobby, then click on the ‘Events’ and ‘LAPT’ tabs to register for the satellite you want to play in. There are so many qualifiers, you can just keep playing until you win one and you could follow in the footsteps of Valdemar Kwaysser!

The setting was Costa Rica where in Season 1 of the LAPT, Valdemar Kwaysser took down the second Latin American Poker Tour event when he turned $200 into close to $280,000! And how did this poker player from Budapest, Hungary accomplish this feat? By winning his LAPT prize package in a $200 satellite qualifier on Poker Stars! Banking the biggest win of his career, Valdemar’s victory was a sweet follow up to his $133,634 score for third place in a Poker Stars Sunday Million tournament.

Once you win your LAPT prize package on Poker Stars, get ready for more poker action than you may be able to handle when you hit Costa Rica. It all starts Wednesday, November 18th with no less than four super satellites starting with buy-ins of $270 + $30.

Then on Thursday, November 19th Day 1 of the LAPT3 Playa Conchal Main Event will be served up with a side order of the $300 NL Hold ‘em Turbo event. The action continues non-stop and culminates on Sunday November 22nd with the Final Table of the Playa Conchal Main Event, a $500 NL Hold ‘em event, the $1,100 NL Hold ‘em final table and a special NL Hold ‘em Super Satellite to the LAPT3 Main Event of LAPT Vina del Mar! With a $450 + $50 buy-in, players will battle it out to win a full prize package to attend the next exciting LAPT event in Vina del Mar!

Whether you are a poker player residing in Latin America or just want to go visit on a poker vacation, don’t miss all of the opportunities that await you – make your LAPT dreams a reality – thanks to Poker Stars!
