It seemed to fly by so quickly. The 14th running of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) has already come to an end with solid results. Only four of the 25 events did not have sufficient registration to eclipse the guarantees, which is an improvement over past series. And all in all, registration for the 25 events hit 54,823, and exactly $18,153,100 in prize money was awarded to the top finishing players. Full Tilt can chalk FTOPS XIV up to another success.
The last six events found Full Tilt Pro Johan Brolenius with two cashes, John Cernuto barely missing a final table in Event 21, and Gary Jones making it to fourth place in Event 22. But it was well-known young online pro Adam Junglen who came close to winning the Main Event, missing that victory by only two spots. The big names were certainly out in force to mix it up with the amateurs in FTOPS, which is what the series aims to do.

The FTOPS XIV Main Event boasted of a fantastic turnout of 5,471 players, which took the prize pool past the $2.5 million guarantee to $2,735,500. At the final table of the event, which didn’t hit until the sun was coming up over the East Coast of the United States, Adam Junglen was by far the most well-known player at the table, and he was able to take his solid chip stack into three-handed play. It was then that the last three players struck a financial settlement for the rest of the prize money, though they played on to see Junglen take a third place finish. Heads-up battled for almost 50 hands before zhivago2 ultimately took a significant lead and forced ItsTime2Win to get his money all-in with
