The year was 1999. I was 29 years old and had recently gone through a divorce. Starting life anew, I was attending college at night while working as a computer programmer during the day. It was mid-February when I rented a movie on a rainy Saturday night that would change my life forever. The movie starred two of my favorite new actors. Edward Norton, who was brilliant in Primal Fear, and Matt Damon, also superb in Good Will Hunting. The name of the movie was Rounders.I had played poker when I was in the Navy. Two Plus Two Publishing, home of the ever popular Two Plus Two forums, filed lawsuits in Las Vegas in early December against several individuals. The federal court actions allege trademark violations against Anthony Scocozza, Jacknames.com, and Russell Aaron “Dutch” Boyd.The first suit, filed on December 4 against Scocozza, noted that its online forums and “poker information community” depends on its business - and hundreds of thousands of members and customers around the world - but that Scocozza infringed upon the Two Plus Two domain name by linking his domain to a competing site.
