MiniFTOPS was on its way to being a success by the results of its first ten tournaments alone, with each one surpassing its guarantee and racking up a cumulative prize pool of $2,272,410. And the second ten events only added to that success with an additional $1,454,920 in prize money awarded. For a set of tournaments that boasts of reasonable buy-ins - only 1/10th of the size of the FTOPS - the MiniFTOPS was making quite the splash as tens of thousands of players clamored to take their shots at Full Tilt Poker money and glory.

It has been awhile since I resorted to playing micro limit poker. I'm not sure if I have the patience to play it for too long so my goal is to work my way through this limit as quickly as possible. I have a simple bankroll management rule that has always worked well for me. For tournaments, I don't ever buy in for more than 2% of my bankroll - that means with my measly $100, the biggest buy in tournament I can play is $2. This really means I can only play $1 tournaments since all the $2 tournaments have that pesky .10 or .20 entry fee.
