Pay Nothing to Play in Bodog Poker Tournaments

The only thing better than having the chance to win lots of money in a poker tournament, is having the chance to win lots of money in a poker tournament for free.  And you’ll have plenty of opportunities to play in free tournaments at Bodog Poker through the Poker Points they offer.

As soon as you sign up at Bodog Poker, you’ll be given 50 Poker Points right off the bat (make sure to use the POKERWORKS bonus code when signing up to get the 110% deposit bonus up to $500).  With the 50 PP you earn right away, you could enter one of the $300 PTS Freerolls, and still have some Poker Points left over!  That’s because the $300 PTS Freeroll, which runs daily at 10:40 pm ET, only costs 30 Poker Points to enter.

Of course the 50 PP you earn for signing up aren’t the only Poker Points you’ll get at Bodog since they can be earned quite frequently by playing in tournaments and ring games.  You get 1 Poker Point in every pot that generates a $1 - $3 rake.  You’ll also earn fractions of a PP for the following: 0.5 Poker Points for every $0.50 - $0.95 in rake, 0.25 PP for every $0.25 - $0.45 in rake, and 0.10 PP for every $0.05 - $0.20 in rake.  This means that you will have lots of opportunities to enter the daily $300 PTS Freeroll again and again!

If you’re looking for a chance to turn your Bodog Poker Points into even bigger cash, then there are plenty of ways to do this too.  The $100k Points Qualifier offers an excellent opportunity to make some major cash since 1 out of every 20 players who enter this qualifier will earn $162 in tournament cash (this can be used to enter the $100,000 Guaranteed).  $100k Points Qualifiers require 750 Bodog Poker Points to enter, and they run every Sunday at 12:20 pm and 2:20 pm ET.

For those who want to use a smaller amount of points, and have a better shot at winning major money, there is the $10k PTS Qualifier (Turbo).  This turbo event sees 1 out of every 15 entrants earning T$109, which can be used for the 10K Guaranteed.  The $10k PTS Qualifier (Turbo) requires 500 PP to enter, and runs three times on Sunday at 9:15 am, 10:15 am, and 11:15 am ET.

One more very interesting tournament opportunity that’s available through Poker Points is the Flight Club PTS Qualifier.  These Flight Club PTS Qualifiers run daily at 7 am and 7 pm ET, and cost just 100 PP to enter.  One out of every 15 players who enter will win a spot in the Flight Club Quarterfinal, which is one step closer to winning a seat in a tournament anywhere around the world.  Morocco, Italy, and Holland are just some of the places where Bodog Poker players have been sent through the Flight Club.

In addition to all of the great poker tournaments and qualifiers you can enter with your Poker Points, you can also choose to turn PP into cash.  To do this, just go to the “Account” tab while logged into Bodog Poker, and click on the “Points to Cash” option.  This will allow you to turn you Poker Points into real money.
