A hearty congratulations is in order - to the new Titan Poker Team players who have landed their six-month sponsorship contract for the first half of 2010! These seven players come from around the globe and are as diverse as their playing style. But just who are these new members of the Titan Poker Team?

One of these lucky players who is getting geared up to represent Titan Poker at some of the biggest tournaments around the globe is Jan Bjoersland. Jan likes to play poker, pool, pinball, and darts as well as other amusement games. He also adds in other favorite hobbies like fishing, cooking and travelling around the world, which fits right in with his immediate future with Titan Poker. Jan has also recorded two CD's with his own music under the name "Chameleo" and puts his three years of college and 1 year of higher education within the IT sector to good use by working in administration at The Norwegian Parliament. As far as his poker career goes, Jan has been playing poker for three years, including both online play and at the tables in European live events. Although his biggest win so far is €20,000 for finishing 86th out 925 players in the European Poker Tour Grand Final in Monte Carlo in 2009, Jan is looking forward to adding to his winnings by representing Titan Poker.

Then there is Fabien Carliez, who is an apprentice specialized educator from France. Fabien began his poker career by playing Draw Poker among friends many years ago and has only been playing online four years. His most memorable wins to date are the $50,000 re-buy where he pocketed $13,000 and his victories in the Super Satellite tournaments for ECPT Salzburg and APT Macao. When not playing on the green felt, he enjoys playing football and squash, and is currently in his third year at the specialized educator school.

Hailing from Spain, Jose Manuel Gomez Rebenaque is best known for his impressive 83rd place finish at the World Series of Poker Main Event, taking home $57,991, but his biggest win was when he finished first in a guaranteed tournament at Titan Poker and won $65,000. Jose began playing poker at the age of 14, and discovered Texas Hold ‘em seven years ago, when he began to play online. In addition to playing poker, Jose is an engineer and family man who enjoys golf and watching soccer and other sports on TV.

Massimiliano Tamburini hails from the ancient city of Rome and his first love is tournament poker, followed by tennis, bicycle riding and wine tasting. A Business Consultant who joined the poker world five 5 years ago when he started playing online, he has been playing live games and events for three years. In November 2008,  Massimiliano took sixth in Titan Pokers $100,000 Guaranteed event for a win of $6,500. Then in 2008 he followed that win with a 17th place finish in the Irish Open where he left the tables with €18,000.

Avid blogger Slobodan Savic is currently a programmer. Besides playing poker, he enjoys playing chess, sailing, golf, reading books and traveling. He started playing poker four years ago in play money games, and after two months he moved on to real money games with only a $20 bankroll. Slobodan noted that $30,000 is the most cash he has won online, while his best finish in a live event earned him €15,000.

Currently holding Black Member status on Poker Strategy is Andreas Schmidt. Andreas admits he loves poker and enjoys traveling, partying, sports, movies and spending time with his girlfriend. Currently Andreas is studying applied informatics at the TU Dortmund and professes to have “a very good comprehension of mathematics and probabilities, that helps him estimate situations at the poker table very well and in a very short time.”

Embarking on a poker career by playing online in 2006 at cash game tables, Andreas moved on to tournaments.  Proving he is a force to be reckoned with in tournaments, Andreas won a prize package to the World Series of Poker Main Event twice, as well as packages to the ECPT Madrid and the ECPT Salzburg where he booked his biggest win so far of €30,000.

Last but by no means least, is Adam York, a recent graduate with a BSC in Applied Economics. Friends introduced Adam to online poker six years ago and he currently plays poker full time, being a constant presence at the tables, both online and on the international circuit. Adam’s first major live tournament was the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event, in which he finished an impressive114th. He was back to try again in 2009 and landed 41st place to pocket just under $179,000. When he takes a break from the tables, Adam loves to travel, have new experiences, play golf and stay fit.
