Santa Clause was very good to 32 year old King, North Carolina resident and online poker player ROSCOE1206. On Christmas Day, he cracked the $377,770 Bad Beat Jackpot. Not only did ROSCOE1206 take home a $123,097.66 gift, 127 other players also got a piece of the jackpot pie! It all took place when ROSCOE1206’s four tens lost to ZMANJ’s ten-high Straight Flush at 20:48 ET on December 25th while he was playing at a Texas Hold'em UB Bad Beat Jackpot table. For reasons unknown, most of the tournaments held on the second Sunday of the new year showed a decrease in registration numbers. However, none of the changes were significant enough to cause major changes to the prize pools that are normally par for the course in the Sunday majors.Of the notable occurrences, Bodog’s big Sunday tournament had the most interesting, as two players from last week’s event made another final table this week. Both elymint and AKbigfish finished several places lower than the previous week, but back-to-back final tables are quite the accomplishments.
