The M Resort is one of the newest casino/resort establishments on the Las Vegas scene. Though it is located off the Strip, it is clearly visible from the 15 Freeway and welcomes people into Vegas with style. And it is now host to the PartyPoker Premier League as it ventured to Los Angeles this week to film its annual live poker events in Vegas.

The freshness of the M Resort comes from not only being new and on the cutting edge of architectural and design trends, but management keeps the hotel and casino in tip-top shape. From the luxurious rooms with flat screen televisions and large picture windows to the immense spa located inside the facility, visitors are greeted with chic mixed with comfort. There are numerous restaurants to accommodate guests, such as Marinelli’s for Italian food, Veloce Cibo for a mix of eclectic dishes, Terzetto for high-end steak needs, and the Studio B buffet. And for a more casual setting in which to have a few drinks, 32 Degree Draft bar has 96 beers on tap and Hostile Grape is a wine cellar for any connoisseur or leisure wine fan.

Those visiting the M Resort this week are in for a special treat as the Party Poker Premier League IV comes to the United States with some of the greatest names in poker. Qualifying tournaments are running now for seats in the annual event that is usually held in London. The big cash game event requires a $100K buy-in, though a few seats are available for PartyPoker qualifiers, and the names confirmed to play in the February 12 event include Tony G, Daniel Negreanu, Mike Sexton, Phil Hellmuth, JC Tran, David Benyamine, Vanessa Rousso, Yevgeniy Timoshenko, Roland de Wolfe, and Luke Schwartz. Doyle Brunson was scheduled to play as well but bowed out due to dental surgery, so Phil Laak has agreed to take his place. With camera crews in place and a $1.5 million prize pool for the competitors, there is sure to be a substantial number of fans at the casino to catch the action live.
