Titan Poker Team Member Heads to the Irish Open

Congratulations to Jose Manuel Gomez Rebenaque, who is one of seven Titan Poker players that received a six month sponsorship with Titan Poker. As a member of the Titan Poker Team, Jose received $25,000 to cover his buy-ins for land-based tournament play, which he plans to use wisely. Before becoming a member of Team Titan, Jose made a good showing at the World Series of Poker Main Event where he finished 83rd for a win of $57,991. Read more

SUPER POKER SUNDAY 02/14: Registrations Down for Valentine’s Day and FTOPS

Many of the online poker tournaments on the February 14th Sunday found decreased registration numbers. Why? The most likely reason was because it was Valentine’s Day, a day that sitting alone at a computer instead of tending to a special significant other might have been frowned upon. There were clearly notable absences in the tournaments, so we’ll attribute it to love and leave it at that.Some of the tournaments were even missing from the schedule, as Full Tilt Poker removed two of the Sunday regulars in lieu of FTOPS options for their players. Poker After Dark Celebrities vs. Mentors Recap - Week of 2/8/10

Some famous personalities took to the felt in Poker After Dark this week, along with poker professionals who had given them advice on their games in the past. Actors Jason Alexander and Don Cheadle, along with former Dodgers’ pitcher Orel Hershiser, sat down for the winner-take-all tournament with pros Barry Greenstein, Phil Gordon, and Gavin Smith. Let’s see how the game played out.Both Alexander and Hersheiser showed that they could handle playing an overpair during the very first blind level.
