Bodog Poker Points mean Big Money and Free Tournaments

One of the best things about online poker is that it gives you the opportunity to win major money at the table.  But what some people don’t know is that you don’t even have to beat your opponents in the actual games to win money.  You could simply break even on the tables and accumulate lots of points that can be converted to cash.  This is especially the case at Bodog Poker where you can earn lots of money just by cashing in your Poker Points.

As soon as you’ve earned 500 Poker Points, you’ll be able to cash them in for real money.  And since the exchange rate is 100 Points for every $1, you would get $5 absolutely free after cashing your Points in.  Of course, you can always wait until you’ve got a lot more Points before exchanging them for money.  The maximum amount of Poker Points you can cash in is 25,000 Points during a 30 day period.  So if you were able to accumulate this amount in a month, you’d get an extra $250 every 30 days just for playing at Bodog.

Now earning 25,000 Points in a single month might sound like a really tough task.  However, you also need to consider that Bodog will double your Poker Points as long as you earn 2,000 in a month.  This means earning 12,500 Poker Points in a month would be enough to get you 25,000 Points.

But what would happen if you earned more than 25,000 Points in a month?  Well, this wouldn’t be a problem at all because you can also use the Bodog Poker Points to buy into tournaments absolutely free.  To find the tournaments where you can use Poker Points as a buy-in, just go to the Bodog lobby and click on the “Daily” tab.  After clicking the Daily tab, you need to choose the “Freeroll and PTS” button which will display all of the Points tournaments.  For just 30 PTS, you could buy into a $300 poker freeroll!  And since the Bodog Poker Points come quickly, you’ll be able to buy into a lot of freerolls.

In poker tournaments, you will receive 3 Points every time you pay $1 in tournament fees.  So if you chose to play in a $30 + $3 sit and go, you would get 9 Poker Points ($3 X 3 Points).  Cash games award Points based on the amount of rake that’s taken from a hand.  The minimum amount of rake that must be taken is $0.05 - $0.20, and this will award you with 0.10 Points.  If $1.00 - $3.00 was taken in rake from your table, you’d earn a full Poker Point.

To begin earning Poker Points, you’ll need to sign up for Bodog Poker first.  Make sure you use the POKERWORKS bonus code before signing up too since this will get you the 110% deposit bonus up to $500 and 50 Poker Points to start out with.  After you’re signed up, you can log into your account and go to the “Account” section.  Here, you can select the “Points to Cash” tab, and then go to the “Amount to Convert” button to exchange your Points for money.  Or you can just go to the tournament lobby and start looking for a freeroll to play in.
