Bodog Poker adds Bad Beat Jackpot to their Promotions

The concept of a bad beat jackpot is nothing new in the online poker industry since many rooms are already running these.  And Bodog Poker realizes this which is why they’ve made sure that their new bad beat jackpot offer is different from the rest.

Instead of making it so that players will only be eligible for a bad beat jackpot when they lose with a four-of-a-kind or better, Bodog has shortened the requirements.  If you lose a hand while holding a full house of aces full of kings (A-A-A-K-K) or better, you will win a bonus worth 100 X the big blind up to $1,000.  And what’s great is that you won’t have to wait for the money either since the cash will be credited into your account as soon as you email Bodog and verify the bad beat.  You could be $1,000 richer just for getting beat with a good hand!

Of course, as with any poker room, you’ll need to satisfy a few conditions before you’re eligible to win the bad beat money.  The first thing is making sure that you’re a member of Bodog Poker and this means signing up using the POKERWORKS bonus code.  When you use the POKERWORKS bonus code you’ll earn a 110% deposit bonus up to $500, which is yet another nice bonus you can earn from Bodog.

After you’ve signed up with the POKERWORKS bonus code, you need to make sure that you’re playing in Texas Hold’em cash games.  Other requirements include having at least three players being dealt into the hand, using both pocket cards in both the winning and losing hand, and both the winning and losing hand going to the showdown.  But almost every bad beat situation involves these conditions anyways so meeting these requirements isn’t that hard.  Once you know the requirements, all that’s left to do is to jump in the cash games at Bodog.

When you go to the Bodog lobby to look for cash games, you’ll notice the “Texas Hold’em” tab in the upper left-hand corner.  When you choose this tab, you will be taken to all of the ring games that are available.  You can choose from either the “All,” “No Limit,” “Pot Limit,” and “Fixed Limit” buttons to find what you’re looking for.

You’ll find the most variety under the Fixed Limit button since the stakes start at $0.02/$0.05 and go up to $30/$60.  After clicking the No Limit button, you’ll find games beginning at the $0.02/$0.05 limits and going up to $10/$20.  The Pot Limit button will show games that start at the $0.05/$0.10 stakes and go up to $1/$2 limits.

No matter what stakes you choose to play in at the Bodog cash tables, you will still be eligible to win the bad beat jackpot as long as you’re in the Texas Hold’em rooms.  And if you are already a cash game player, having the added bonus of being able to win up to $1,000 with the bad beat jackpot is just one more great thing about playing at Bodog Poker.
