Time to step up and show your patriotism this spring by playing at PokerStars and representing your country in the PokerStars Americas Cup of Poker! Not only will you be showing your country pride, but you will be competing for your share of the $150,000 prize pool!

The PokerStars Americas Cup of Poker promotion will send qualifiers and Team PokerStars Pros alike to represent their home countries in the PokerStars Americas Cup of Poker event, where they will compete in a fabulous live final event to be held at Iguazu Falls in beautiful Argentina! And with a $150,000 prize pool on the line, the competition to get a seat in this event will be hot and heavy - so you better plan now to attend!

To get started playing for your spot on your country’s team and get qualified to compete in the live final event, you need to get to PokerStars where from now until April 14, players from nine countries will be battling it out to help their nation get to the live final. These countries include the USA, Mexico, Canada, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela, Peru, Brazil and Argentina. In addition, all remaining Latin America countries are being extended an invitation to play as the ‘Rest of LATAM,’ to bring the total number of teams to 10.

Then in the month of May, these representatives will travel to South America’s beautiful Iguazu Falls to take part in a patriotic poker battle like no other! This could be your trip of a lifetime, because not only will it offer you the chance to explore one of the most beautiful regions in South America, but also to play the great game of poker as a representative of your homeland for some serious cash!

How it works is players from all 10 countries will compete against each other in three tiers of matches from FreeRolls up to $0.10 to $1.10 buy-in levels. The top 100 finishers in each tournament will be awarded points. The country that manages to accumulate the most points in each match will be declared the winner of that match. Your goal is to play to score as many points as possible for not only your country, but also for yourself. That’s because the four players who earn the most points, will become representatives for their country at the live final if their Country’s team qualifies!

To register for this patriotic endeavor, go to the PokerStars lobby and click on the ‘Tourney’ and ‘Regional’ tabs. And if you don't want to pay the dime, you can win entry tickets into the $0.10 tournaments just by playing in any of the FreeRoll Sit n’ Go’s that are running 24/7 during the Americas Cup of Poker promotional period.

After the completion of the first nine rounds of matches, the six countries having the most wins will automatically qualify for the live final, while the remaining four teams will enter the play-offs for the final two positions between April 16th and 18th. Each team qualifying to attend the Americas Cup of Poker final will be made up of the top four point earning players during qualification, plus a Team PokerStars Pro member who will serve as their captain!

Your patriotic duty has never been so much fun…start serving your country at PokerStars today for your trip to Argentina!
