The choices are all yours when you plan your trip to Vegas and The WSOP because the Cake Poker’s $12,500 package is not a Main Event package, but a prize package designed to suit your poker palate! Of course you can choose to play in the Main Event of the series, or opt for another event such as the $10K NL Championship, participate in two $5,000 events, or even spread out your winnings and enter 12 WSOP $1,000 events!
First off, you can jump directly into the Series $12,500 Final that takes place on Sundays at 4pm for a buy-in of $350 + $24 in which the winner will receive a $12,500 WSOP prize package. Or, join in the Series $12,500 Semi running Daily at 8:40 am, 2:40pm, and 8:40pm for only $25 +$2 where one player will advance to the Series $12,500 Final for each $374 in the prize pool. Then there is also the satellite route, with Daily R/A (Re-Buy/Add-On) events available for just $3 + 0.30 as well as the Daily Satellite Freezeout in which winners from both will advance to the Series $12,500 Semi Final!
To win your World Series of Poker $2,500 prize package, you can choose to play through a series of Five Steps, starting for only $1 + $0.10 in Step One, or speed up the process by jumping in at any level of the Five Step Sit n’ Gos available in the series. In Series $2,500 Step 1, the first place finisher will receive a ticket to Step Two. The Step Two satellite has a buy-in of $6 + $0.60 and will advance the first place winner to Step Three.
Step Three is available for $25 + $2 and advances the First place winner to Step Four, which has a buy-in of $108 + $6 and will advance the winner to Step Five. All first-place finishers move up the step, with second through fourth places being awarded tickets to a Step satellite - so they can try again!
And when you get to the top, the Series 2010 $2,500 Step Five with a buy-in of $490 + $17, will send the winner to the WSOP with a $2,500 prize package, while awarding the second place finisher with $440 in cash!
