Mega Million Points Race at SportsBook Poker

The 41st annual World Series of Poker is well under way and from all indications will be the biggest WSOP yet. In all, 57 events have been scheduled; each expected to be a massive draw with huge first-place prizes. But there’s one lucrative event taking place this June that you won’t find in Las Vegas at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino—unless you’re online!

From Tuesday, June 1 until Wednesday, June 30 play in SportsBook Poker’s Mega Million Points Race for your chance at over 12,000 individual cash prizes, totaling over $1,000,000. How does it work? Simply play at any of SportsBook’s real money ring games or tournament tables. As you play, you will earn VIP Points. The more points you earn, the more free cash you’ll get paid.

As your points accumulate, you’ll make your way through the 15 levels. Each time you reach a level you’ll immediately receive the corresponding cash prize. Your point total will then reset to zero and then you’re on to the next level. For example, once you’ve earned 250 VIP points, you’ve met the level 1 requirement and you will receive $2.50. Your VIP point total will then reset and you’ll be working your way towards level 2 (500 points) to collect $5. Your VIP point total will reset to 0 and so on. And you can win ALL 15 cash prizes provided you meet each level’s individual prize requirements.

All Mega Millions cash prizes will be paid directly to your SportsBook poker account, without any further play through requirements. Any cash prizes will be available for withdrawal after seven days of being issued to your account, but you can use them to play at the tables immediately after payment is received.

Over 12,000 cash prizes will be awarded, with a top prize of $15,000 in cold hard cash. But each level has a limited number of prizes, which means the first eligible players to reach a particular level will be awarded that prize. In the event that multiple players reach the same level and prize limits have been exceeded, the prize will be awarded to the fastest player to obtain that level (within the prize limits).

Start earning points and cash today. If you’re a regular SportsBook poker player, you know that earning VIP Points is easy. But there are a couple of ways to rack up some extra points and move through the levels faster. Consider playing an extra Sit n Go tournament each day or increasing your regular stakes for a few tournaments or sessions per week. Higher stakes mean more VIP Points. When you think about the difference in prizes from one level to the next, upping your stakes pays for itself in no time. You can view your current VIP point totals by clicking on the ‘Player Admin’ button on the lobby screen and selecting ‘Million Dollar Points Race.’

If you’re new to SportsBook Poker, you’ll need to set up a real money account and make at least one minimum deposit between your joining date and up to Wednesday, June 30, in order to be eligible to receive cash prizes in the Million Dollar Points Race. And along with your bonus, you’ll also receive a seat into a private $500 Welcome Freeroll that’s only available to new SportsBook depositing players.
