Just a Little About the Dynamic Poker Duo That is Team Bodog

When it comes to poker, women have been forging their way to the head of the collective conscious for many years. Today there’s no shortage of women proving their merit on the felt, both in online tournaments and renowned events around the globe. Two young female players who have exploded onto the poker scene are Evelyn “Evybabee” Ng and Amanda “Manderbutt” Musumeci—the dynamic duo that makes up Team Bodog Poker.

Musumeci is the newest addition to the Bodog Team. She hails from Philadelphia and began playing poker shortly before starting college at Kutztown University. While in school, she took a job as a waitress to pay off her debts, but she continued to play poker online. She developed her skills and soon ended up quitting her waitressing job because she was making more money playing poker. According to an interview with Bodog Poker, she “won about $5,000” her first month. “I got on with $150.00 and worked my way up. I was very, very lucky,” she said.

Though she has played tournament poker at most of the Vegas casinos, Musumeci mainly plays online tournaments and cash games. If you’re a regular online player you’ve probably run into “Manderbutt” over the past year. But now that she’s an official Bodog Pro, it’s a good bet you’ll see even more of her, but playing under her new screen name, “BodogMander.”

When she’s not busy playing online poker, Musumeci doesn’t spend her time watching football or baseball games, even though she hails from a city that’s home to the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and 76ers. She says she really doesn’t like sports, but she does “love strategy games” like billiards “because you constantly have to make new decisions.” She also enjoys rock climbing and camping.

The 25-year-old Musumeci says she is excited about joining Team Bodog and joining forces with Evelyn Ng as the site’s poker pros. She admits that Ng is much more experienced that she is, but says they are both very intelligent. “Evelyn’s got that live poker thing going on; I'm more of an online girl,” Musumeci says.

Canadian-born Evelyn “Evybabee” Ng has been on the live tournament circuit poker scene for years and has been a member of Team Bodog since 2006. She got her start shooting pool and dealing back-room games in Toronto during her teens. As soon as she was old enough to play casino games, she made the move to Vegas. Ng says she “sucked at poker” for a long time, but over the past few years has become a steady cash-game and multi-table tournament player. When Ng isn’t at the poker tables, she spends much of her spare time surfing the web, playing video games, watching reality television or movies and reading non-fiction science books.

These two poker divas are going places and it’s only a matter of time before one of them has a major tournament victory to their credit. Join them today at Bodog Poker! If you’re new to the site, download here and use bonus code POKERWORKS and you’ll receive 110% up to $500 Bodog Poker bonus.
