For the last several years, poker players around the world have enjoyed some of the biggest and best tournaments to ever hit the internet via the Grand Series of Poker (GSOP). Now the online poker series will have a live contingent, a four-stop tour across Europe. GSOP Live 2010/2011 will take place in Latvia, Malta, Hungary and Spain, boasting first-class casino venues, accessible buy-ins, side events and a Grand Final seat via a live event Leaderboard. In addition, players who register for the tournament at Hollywood Poker will be eligible to join the GSOP Live in Riga Registration Tournament that will run on September 26. The winner will receive a $500+$25 ticket to Hollywood’s exclusive Highroller tourney.
The GSOP Live tour will continue with a stop at the Portomaso Casino in historical Malta from November 24-28, 2010. Online finals begin September 28 and run to November 14. Then it’s on to Hungary for a taste of traditional European elegance and exciting live poker in the oldest and most prestigious casino in the center of beautiful Budapest on February 3-6, 2011. Online Finals for this leg of the tour run from December 9, 2010 to January 23, 2011.
GSOP Live will finish in grand style at Casino Aljarafe in the cultural city of Seville, Spain from April 13-16, 2011. Online finals for the Grand Final run from February 17 to April 3, 2011. Direct buy-in to this live event is also available for $3,000+$300.
