The 17th running of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series kicked off on August 4, and of the twelve days of exciting online poker already underway, there are many ways to win. Not only are there 34 tournaments in which winners will grab one of the most sought-after titles in poker, but there are challenges and even freerolls attached to FTOPS that give players chance after chance to come out on top.

The basics of FTOPS provide numerous ways to win. Winning the first satellite earns that player a seat into the FTOPS event, but an additional satellite earns extra tournament dollars in the amount of the event buy-in added to one’s account for later use in any Full Tilt tournament. And the player who wins the most satellites for any one event wins the tournament dollar equivalent to an additional two buy-ins.

Lastly, there is the Bouncebackability Freeroll. For those who bubble any one of the FTOPS events, they won’t walk away with just a bad beat story but an entry into a freeroll tournament as well. The bubble players will be invited back for the Bouncebackability Freeroll on August 21, where the winner will receive a buy-in to the FTOPS XVIII Main Event later in 2010, which looks to be worth about $640.
