It is an honor that only 32 players will experience. The FTP Masters Series is a three-day live set of tournaments that determines the best overall player, rewarding that person with substantial prize money and the title of Spanish Poker Champion. And Full Tilt Poker provides the opportunity to compete for that distinction.

The Masters Series will consist of 32 players and take place over the course of three days in Spain. The first day will bring all players into a deep stack tournament, and the second will allow everyone to compete in a shootout tournament. Points will be awarded on both days based on their finishing positions in both tournaments, and the top 16 players will advance to the third day, which has two parts. First, the turbo tournament will thin the field to only eight players based on their finishes, and the final eight will play in a heads-up event, where only one player will ultimately be left standing, and that player will become the Spanish Poker Champion. Oh, and there will be $100,000 at stake to be awarded to the best of the best!

There are only two ways to qualify. Of the 32 players invited to participate, half of them will be able to qualify on Full Tilt Poker through satellite events. The other 16 players will be chosen based on a points system from the Full Tilt Poker Series - Espana, the series of four events taking place in Spain throughout 2010.

The Full Tilt Poker Series - Espana held its first 2010 event in April and the second in June. The third is coming up on August 27, as the Casino Gran in Madrid will host the three-day €1,500 + €150 buy-in live tournament with a €150,000 guarantee. For the next event, satellites are no longer running but players can buy-in directly at the casino. But there is one more event for which players can qualify online, as the Grand Final is not scheduled until December 2010. The Gran Casino de Barcelona will host the four-day season ending tournament, which will have a €550,000 guarantee for the €3,000 + €200 buy-in. Players who finish the Espana season with the most points will be awarded an entry to the Masters Series to be held at a date and location yet to be announced.

Don’t let this opportunity to become a Full Tilt Poker superstar pass you by! Players from around the world participate in the Espana series, and only the best of the best will compete in the Masters Series.
