SportsBook Poker’s $15K Touchdown

When the Super Bowl clock hit 0:00 in February, football fans worldwide began looking forward to one thing—the start of a new season. And now it’s finally here. The 2010 NFL regular season kicks off on Thursday, September 9 and to celebrate, SportsBook Poker is awarding over 5,000 individual cash prizes totaling more than $700,000 during the $15K Touchdown promotion.

To join the celebration, all you have to do is click the “Activate $15,000 touchdown” button in your player admin and then play in any of SportsBook’s real money ring games or tournaments from September 1st until September 30th. As you play, you’ll earn VIP points: 1 VIP point for every 10 cents of rake you contribute in cash games and 1 VIP point for every 10 cents that you pay in tournament fees. As your VIP points accumulate, you’ll make your way through 10 First Down Levels.

Each “First Down” will require you to earn a set number of VIP points and will reward you with an instant cash payout. There are a limited number of prizes at each level, so the first players to reach a particular level will be awarded that prize. In the case of multiple players reaching the same level, and prize limits being exceeded, then the prize will be awarded to the fastest player to obtain that level. Once you’ve cleared a level, your point total will be reset to zero and you’ll move on to the next level.

For example, once you’ve earned 500 VIP points, you’ll collect your First Down Level 1 cash prize of $5.00. Your VIP point total will then reset to zero and you’ll start working your way toward the next first down, and the next, until you reach the end zone. To view your current VIP point totals, simply click on the ‘Player Admin’ button on the lobby screen and select ‘The $15,000 Touchdown.’

If you manage to complete all 10 levels, you’ll win a top prize payout of $10,000. Coupled with the payouts from the other levels, you will have won a total of over $15,000! All cash prizes will be paid in full directly to your poker account within about 30 minutes of completing a level, without any further play through requirements. Any cash prizes will be available for withdrawal after 7 days of being issued to your account, but can be used to play at the tables immediately.

Don’t let the play clock run out on this exciting promotion. Click the ‘Join the Game’ button NOW to register because the VIP points counter will cease recording at 23:59 (server time) on Thursday, September 30th, and any points earned after this time will not count towards prize requirements.

If you don’t have a SportsBook Poker account, the download and registration process is simple and fast, so you can start playing within minutes. And when you download through our links, you’ll receive a special 100% up to $650 First Deposit Bonus!
