Full Tilt Fever: Few Days Left to Play MiniFTOPS XVII

The online poker community is abuzz this week with news coming from MiniFTOPS. The 17th running of the miniature version of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series, one that offers all of the same exciting events at only 1/10th of the buy-ins, got underway on September 8, and fans have been watching the action as players win their first titles and bankrolls are changed with the influx of serious new cash.

The first tournament of the series was an indication of just how popular the Full Tilt Poker series was going to be, as the $20 + $2 no-limit holdem tournament with a $200K guarantee drew 14,938 players and established a prize pool of $298,760. And out of that massive field, loldazzlements ended up winning it all for a first prize of more than $30K. For anyone buying in to a $22 tournament, the receipt of that five-figure sum in the account after many hours of hard work is nothing but rewarding and probably bankroll changing. But even more than that, the prestige that comes with holding a MiniFTOPS title is something that boosts a player’s reputation and creates an entirely new image going forward at the tables.

The series thus far has been a testament to the popularity of MiniFTOPS. And if the players were asked, most would surely say that the opportunity to play in such low buy-in tournaments with the sizable guarantees is something they look forward to for months.

But it’s not over yet! Many more events remain on the schedule, as the Main Event - a $70 + $5 NLHE tournament with a $1 million guarantee - won’t wrap things up for the series until Sunday, September 19. That leaves days for players to get in on the action. And there are ways to do it, no matter how big or small a bankroll and no matter what time of day is most convenient. The satellites for each of the remaining tournaments are running around the clock, and players can take their chance for as little as $.50 or 50 player points. And while battling it out in those satellites, players can take part in the Satellite Challenge, which awards additional tournament dollars for winning several seats into the same tournament, and those dollars can be used to play in any tournament, not just MiniFTOPS, at any time in the future.

Take the opportunity to download Full Tilt Poker and make that initial deposit. Use bonus code “POKERWORKS” while doing so to accumulate a 100% bonus on that deposit through your site play. Then take the chance on some MiniFTOPS satellites and tournaments. There’s not much as exciting as participating in one of the most watched tournament series of the year, and the winners of events thus far in the series can probably attest that the victories are even more thrilling!
