Play for a Share of $2,500,000 in Hollywood Poker’s GSOP V

The fifth edition of Hollywood Poker’s Grand Series of Poker (GSOP) is here. Running from September 19 to October 3, this GSOP edition is a series of 15 thrilling qualifier tournaments with a wide range of games, buy-ins, and guaranteed prize pools that culminate in a huge online finale on October 10—the Grand Slam. Now this is the grand daddy of all online poker tournaments where you’ll play with only the best poker players for a share of the massive $2,500,000 collective prize pools!

The GSOP V has something for everyone. Play in 15 different types of games, from NL Texas Holdem to PL Omaha, with buy-ins of $50+$4 to $500+$25, and $25,000 to $500,000 guaranteed prize pools. The winner of each event not only walks away with an impressive prize pool but also a $5,000 ticket to the Grand Slam main event!

In addition, all GSOP V events will award points towards the Leaderboard. After the last GSOP event, the first place of the leaderboard will automatically receive a free ticket to the Grand Slam Final. The remaining players in the top 100 will get a chance to compete for another three tickets. During the GSOP period there are  scheduled daily qualifiers to the Grand Slam Final. These qualifiers will be re-buy tournaments with buy-ins ranging from as little as $20 to $30 and all will guarantee one Grand Slam Final ticket.

You’ll even get one final chance to qualify to the Grand Slam with a $50+4 buy-in GSOP Grand Slam Last Chance Qualifier that starts two hours before the final tournament. This one guarantees a $15,000 prize pool and as many as 3 tickets to the Grand Slam Final. Players can of course choose to buy-in directly to the Grand Slam Final. A buy-in fee of $5,000 makes this one of the biggest high-staked online tournaments around.

But if you’d like to raise the stakes a little higher, you can enter a SideBet. The cost to participate is $1000+0 and comes without any commission fee. All the players with a GSOP SideBet ticket will compete for the best position in the GSOP Leaderboard and a share of the SideBet prize pool.

Running parallel to GSOP V is The Grand Series of Poker Mini. GSOP Mini follows the same format as GSOP, apart from there being no SideBet to GSOP Mini, with buy-ins and guarantees set to approximately 10% of the numbers in GSOP and a total prize pool of $250,000. Between September 19 and October 3, there will be 15 events that will hand out a ticket to the $30,000 Guaranteed Mini Grand Slam Final to the winner and also award points towards a leaderboard where the winner gets a $525 Gram Slam Mini ticket.

You can earn your way to the GSOP Mini main events via Hollywood Poker’s Daily Qualifiers starting as low as $1+0.20. Find a qualifier that suits your buy-in amount and win your ticket to the next level. Enter the Mini Grand Slam Final by winning any of the Mini GSOP Main Events, Mini Grand Slam Qualifiers, or Mini Last Chance Qualifiers.

At Hollywood Poker, the possibilities are endless regardless of what stakes you favor. Qualifiers in all different price ranges to the different GSOP and GSOP Mini events are already running. Get in on one today for a chance at tons of cash and to be crowned the next Grand Series of Poker Champion!
