Take on the P0ker H0 at UB Poker

In case you have never heard of him, the P0ker H0 is one of online poker's biggest personalities, not to mention being possibly the most feared online tournament player that ever was. And right now, UB Poker is giving you a chance to pay against the P0ker H0, in a $50,000 Guaranteed tournament event!

Team UB's P0ker H0 is stepping away from behind his bar in Madison, Wisconsin to host his very own $50k Guaranteed No Limit Hold em Deep Stack tournament at UB and Absolute Poker every Saturday at 3:05pm ET. Those who have heard about the P0ker H0, know that he is a big guy who likes to play big pots and do everything in a big way. That is why he will be hosting this big event with a big $50K prize pool, big starting stacks and featuring a special big bounty prize on his head! Any player who knocks P0ker H0 out of his own tournament will win $300 in Tournament Dollars and big bragging rights! The direct buy-in for the P0ker H0 $50K event is $300+$20, but UB thinks it is time someone knocks their Team Pro H0 down to size, so they have a host of satellites running starting at just $2+$0.20!

Mark Kroon aka P0ker H0, has become one of the most well known online tournament players in the world and is famous for being a wild man at the poker table. And while he has a reputation for aggressiveness, he says that patience is the real key to poker success, "Even though I play aggressively, being patient is the most important thing in No Limit Holdem. You have to watch other players and learn from them. You will not learn No Limit Holdem unless you watch thousands of hands."  He also says, "By being aggressive, I can control the situations at the table." Mark confesses he has a weaknesses too, "I go on tilt too easily when I get a bad beat, the remainder of my play is not up to par or close to my abilities," he admits.

Mark has been playing poker for almost 20 years in his hometown at the Players Sports Bar, where he met Madison's other favorite poker son, Phil Hellmuth. Mark decided that he liked the game at the bar so much that he bought the place and has owned it ever since. If you are ever in Madison, stop in, and if you are brave enough, you can play internet poker there, while the whole bar watches on a 52" plasma screen monitor. Mark is without a doubt a larger than life personality who is widely known and very well liked throughout the online poker playing community and at home. Taking a break from the bar, Mark regularly travels to big live events such as the World Series of Poker and one of his favorites, the Aruba Ultimate Poker Classic. Mark has nothing but praises for the Aruba event saying, "You could hold that tournament in Alaska and it would still be the best tournament around. We have become a family."

When not sitting at the UB online poker tables or at a live tournament, Mark can be found playing softball, bowling, or at his favorite hang-out, the golf course. "I love to golf... just get away and let my mind wander," he says. And just what advice does he give poker players to keep their mind from wandering? "Sit back and watch the players at your table and make note of the image you are giving there. Sit back, relax, and have fun." He says he likes to have fun but he does "play strong around the bubble because there is no other point in the tournament when you can accumulate so many chips." Mark has had many cashes over the years and accumulated many fans, but his biggest supporter is his mother. Proud of her son's achievements, she shows it when she accompanies him to tournaments where she is easy to spot wearing her favorite t-shirt – that says ‘Mama H0.’

See what you can learn from the P0ker H0 and if you can knock him out. Play in his big tournament every Saturday – only at UB and Absolute Poker!
