Even in the aftermath of the UIGEA attempting to put a stranglehold on Internet poker, 2010 has been a stellar year for the richest gaming event on the planet, the WSOP. A revamped format for the World Series of Poker Circuit showed larger than expected numbers have turned out and resulted in record breaking attendance and all signs point to that continuing. So far this year's World Series of Poker Circuit event at Harrah's resort has drawn 1,250 players for its opening day event; that is a record for the Circuit stop. Steady numbers have continued to pour into the ballroom at Harris throughout the series.
