The World Poker Tour Celebrity Invitational is a star studded poker event that can put you right at the table with people you only dream of meeting, like Don Cheadle, Jennifer Tilly, Jason Alexander, Shannon Elizabeth, Eric Dane, Ray Romano and some of the world's most famous poker players. Remember that this is an invitation only event.  Ouch!  How do you manage to leap across that twist and land at a table with chips in front of you, in a seat with your name on it?

The LA Poker Classic is a five week long buffet of poker action and tournaments and any player that wins a seat in one of the 7 PM nightly Supersatellites for the Main Event will also lay claim to a seat in the WPT Invitational.  With a buy-in of $225 and $200 rebuys, the Supersatellites are a means to make your poker plans a real thrill, filled with media stars and poker stars. Supersatellites run from January 21st  to February 23rd

The WPT Celebrity Invitational begins on Saturday, February 19th, with a red carpet reception and is a freeroll with a $200,000 prize pool offered by the Commerce.  It concludes on Wednesday March 2nd, with the final table and will air on Fox Sports Net (FSN), and your opportunity to be there is within reach.

Look at the list of celebrities who have attended in the past: Teri Hatcher, Eric Dane,  Paris Hilton, Vince Vaughn, James Woods, Jenny McCarthy,  Ray Romano, Jason Alexander, Don Cheadle, Mimi Rogers, Stephen Collins, Ed Asner, Jennifer Tilly, Jon Favreau, Anne Heche, Mekhi Phifer, Sharon Lawrence, Lou Diamond Phillips, Norm MacDonald, Dean Cain, Camryn Manheim, Cheryl Hines, Kathy Griffin, Shannon Elizabeth, Maura Tierney, Oliver Hudson, Ricki Lake, Michael Vartan, Montel Williams, Josh Malina, Kevin McKidd, Hank Azaria, Dave Annable, Jerry Ferrara, Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes, among others.

Take that list of celebrities and add it to the top poker pros that have already signed up to play the upcoming WPT Championship at Bellagio, in Las Vegas, or won a WPT event, like Gus Hansen, Antonio Esfandiari, Michael Mizrachi, Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein, Doyle Brunson, Mike Matusow, Phil Hellmuth, Erick Lindgren, Carlos Mortensen, Vanessa Rousso, Patrick Antonius, David Pham, Chris Ferguson, David Benyamine, Todd Brunson, Jennifer Harman, Ted Forrest, John Juanda, Gavin Smith, Cyndy Violette, Scotty Nguyen, Erik Seidel, Kathy Liebert, Joe Sebok, and internet phenoms Tom "Durrrr" Dwan, Joe Cada, Gavin Griffin, Sorel Mizzi, Annette Obrestad, and Justin Bonomo, and it all adds up to a massive gathering of stars in one event.

The LAPC schedule has 53 events that will run over 43 days from January 19th to March 3rd, with buy-ins that range from $125 to the sky-high $25,100 High Roller event and the combined tournaments offer $2 Million in guarantees.  Look for the No Limit Holdem Seniors event - new this year - to bring some of the best of the best generation that has stood the test of poker time.  And get ready for action that cranks and just speeds up from there with the four-day-start $1 Million guaranteed event that kicks it all off.

While you're drooling and dreaming over the massive poker action, toss your hat into the ring in the Main Event Supersatellites and win your WPT Celebrity Invitational seat.  And you can win your WPT Main Event seat online at PartyPoker and UB Poker.
