Eric Baldwin has inked a two year deal with UB Poker to represent the online poker site as one of the Team UB poker professionals. With over $4.2 Million in poker winnings and a gold bracelet, his successful first year representing the popular online poker site made him a perfect candidate to remain with the growing UB Poker team. Baldwin became an official UB.com player in December of 2009.
“Signing again with UB.com was a no-brainer,” stated Eric Baldwin. “I like the direction that the site is headed and I’m really feeling the new, younger Team UB. I’m excited to continue to be a big part of it.”
The team of poker professionals at UB Poker continues to grow with Eric’s re-signing. Just three weeks ago UB scored a major coup when they signed the poker phenomenon Prahlad Friedman. Prahlad, a multi-million dollar cash game champion and WSOP bracelet winner, has stayed away from a contract with any online poker site for years, and UB added a major player to their stable when they scooped him up.
Baldwin has a great track record with many more opportunities coming up to make it even longer and stronger. In 2010 alone he scored over $1.4 Million in land-based event cashes and in 2009 he was equally successful in live events and won Card Player Magazine’s Player of the Year honor. In 2010 he finished 6th in Bluff Magazine’s 2010 Player of the Year race and currently ranks 2nd in the Bluff Magazine/ESPN Poker Power Rankings.
In November 2010, Baldwin took first place in the NAPT LA Bounty Shootout event for $157,280. At last year’s World Series of Poker Baldwin finished 59th in the Main Event for $138,245 and cashed in three additional WSOP events. In 2009, he captured his first WSOP bracelet in a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em tournament that netted him $521,932. As of this writing Baldwin has earned over $4.2 million playing poker.
