Las Vegas Sands Cuts Comps

Long an issue with poker players feeling they are getting the short end of the deal for their hours and money spent at the tables, comping can be a very volatile subject in any customer service plan.  Apparently the Sands figures to rely on players showing up without offering any incentives for time and money spent.  Now, not only poker players feel slighted but the high rollers do too, and they are doing something about it. Regulated Online Poker

Florida may be the first state - beating out New Jersey and California - to regulate online poker since the red tape maze is clearing. It could happen by July of this year. Legislation was introduced by Rep. Joseph Abruzzo and will be discussed by Florida lawmakers beginning March 8th.  Gov. Charlie Crist negotiated a contract with the Seminole Indians that could move the industry forward and Florida's $4 billion budget deficit may be part of the reason.

Hellmuth Can't Dance

All of the build-up and hype that went on with Phil Hellmuth and Dancing with the Stars was a leap out into thin air with no one waiting to catch him.  He may be dancing but it won't be on TV in the immediate future. It happened to former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman too but what do Hellmuth and Aikman have in common?  They can't stop chatting about their future possible fame.
