Bodog's Innovative Game Design

At Bodog Poker it’s all about the game, which is why they have pulled out all the stops to provide online poker players with a great playing experience.

To start with, the Quick Seat feature will get you in your game of choice with the swift click of your mouse. Once you are seated, then you can make your poker table look just the way you want it, making it uniquely your own. Start by choosing your table felt color. With a whole color wheel of choices, you won’t have a problem choosing your favorite hue. To color your world, go to the lobby and select “Preferences,” then “Table Settings” to access the color picker.

While you are seated you will notice that Bodog Poker doesn’t go in for a lot of clutter with needless table and chair graphics. Instead, the tables at Bodog Poker have a clean, crisp look that gives every player a clear view of their opponents along with their chip stacks and the plays they make. Another exclusive Bodog feature that enhances your game view is their Spotlight option where you will never lose track of the action whether you are playing in one game or at multiple tables. The Spotlight will automatically engage when you sit in a game, but if you prefer to turn it off, you can do that in a snap in the preferences section.

Every time you sit in a game you can be the center of attention with the central action Dashboard option. No matter what your favorite seat is, the table rotates to give you the same table view every time you play. And to keep the action going you can act with one click, using the “Min,” “Max,” and “Pot” buttons or type the amount you want to bet in the box. Plus, when you think you may have thrown away a winner but can’t remember your hole cards, the folded hand display, shows you in a flash what cards you folded.

Bodog Poker knows that successful poker players use all the tools they can to give them the winning edge and two handy tools Bodog offers is Player Cards and Notes.  You can get to the Notes and Player Cards features right from the table by clicking on your opponent’s avatar. Access Notes and Player Cards from the menu option then start typing away, making valuable notes on how your opponents play. The Player Cards feature not only gives you the chance to learn about your fellow players but also share information about yourself if you choose.

And speaking of handy player tools, tournament players will love the new Player Tools feature. After hours of play in a multi-table tournament it is easy to forget where the bubble is and how many more players have to bust out for you to come in the money. The solution is to use the new Player Tools to get all stats about your progress, the payout structure, and how many players are left. To access this feature, just click on the Player Tools menu bar and select Tournament Progress, Tournament Payouts, or Tournament Players. Of course you can easily keep track of how many flops you’re seeing, how often you raise, and your winning percentage by clicking on the Player Tools menu bar and selecting Stats.

Whether you play one game at a time or are a multi-table player, the Resizable Tables, Full Screen and Multiple Tables display options are just the ticket to make customize your game to suit your mood. No matter what you play or what games you enjoy, at Bodog Poker you can play poker YOUR way thanks to their innovative options and features!
