The Sunday Wrap: KOMIJENDO Takes Home $396,578.78 in MiniFTOPS XIX

As all online poker players know, Sundays are a big day for playing online tournaments, especially at Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars.

Both of these poker rooms have some of the biggest guaranteed events to be found anywhere and every Sunday, lives are changed when lucky players score a huge win. Last Sunday was no different with the biggest event being the MiniFTOPS XIX $1,250,000 guaranteed over at Full Tilt Poker which came to a head early Monday morning. The final MiniFTOPS event was huge thanks to Full Tilt’s new Multi-Entry format which resulted in 45,232 entries. This swelled the prize pool to a staggering $3,166,240 and saw "KOMIJENDO" taking home a whopping $396,578.78 for his victory. When it got down to a Heads-Up match, a deal was struck $360,944.14 was awarded to second place finisher Igor "Demon1531" Panák. The other winners at the final table were:
•    3rd Place - manu_litas $208,971.84
•    4th Place - TSchmidt $148,813.28
•    5th Place - luckbox168 $104,485.92
•    6th Place - mar9300 $75,989.76
•    7th Place - Caleb "CapItAt4" Mead $56,992.32
•    8th Place - No_id_4_me $42,110.99
•    9th Place - TurtlePower17 $29,762.66

Also on that day, "NuggetMaster420” took down the $600+$40 buy-in $1 Million Guaranteed event for a payday worth $221,241.60 when he outran a field of 2,004 players. Also joining the over $100k winners circle was “breastknight” who finished first for $105,235.20 in the Full Tilt Sunday Brawl.

Meanwhile on PokerStars, "kalmuka" was the king of the $200+$15 buy-in Sunday Million when he rose to the top of the field of 9,594 players. After it got six-handed, the players struck a deal and a first place prize of $234,574.03 was agreed upon. The other final table finishers were awarded the following:

•    3rd Place - SeraphimV $146,066.56
•    4th Place - IkBenEenBaas $108,438.49
•    5th Place - dickkemp $109,075.66
•    6th Place-  upstrick77 $135,354.39

•    9th Place - Nick "PureCash25" Rampone $13,047.84

The PokerStars $200+$15 buy-in Sunday Warm-Up had a $1,003,600 prize pool which attracted 5,018 players and concluded with this final table of winners:

•    2nd Place - Vitalijs "zavor" Zavorotnijs $125,791.20
•    3rd Place - petteytheft $82,797
•    4th Place - Easy Folding $56,703.40
