Heartland Poker Tour’s Season 7 Joined by

The Heartland Poker Tour (HPT) was founded in 2005 and is based on a grass-roots strategy, "Real People, Unreal Money."  HPT is all about a televised No Limit Texas Holdem Poker Tour that everyone can afford to buy into - each week it's available in over 100 million homes through the United States. And is right in the middle of all the fun, poker action, and spotlight as it joins the super successful Heartland Poker Tours' Season 7 as a sponsor.

Heartland Poker Tour Made for Television

HPT has managed to remember that having fun at the game of poker is just as important as any prize money out there as it offers players a made-for-TV tournament series.

"What HPT has been able to do is fantastic.  The best kept secret in poker with their homegrown events and national television exposure, they simply get bigger and better every year out.  For us, to come in and back their product, we know we’ll help to shine a spotlight on HPT like never before. So, expect more players having some fun at the HPT tables and overall richer prize pools across the tour,” said Team UB Pro Joe Sebok. Ultimate Freeroll Challenge

Through all HPT Season 7 episodes, as well as on-site at HPT live events, and at, will host a series of online tournaments giving players an opportunity to win fantastic prize packages that include HPT tournament entries, UB swag, event hospitality, and cash towards accommodations and travel.  Look for the Ultimate Freeroll Challenge - full details - that will award a VIP Tour Pass to Season 8 of the Heartland Poker Tour to the winner.

Play With the Poker Stars

The Heartland Poker Tour was created for you and me, the average player, but don't fall off your chair when you take a seat and find you are facing off with Joe Sebok, Brandon Cantu, Adam "Roothlus" Levy, Eric "Basebaldy" Baldwin, and many others, since they will be at selected HPT events across the country playing for the title and cash just like you are.  Some of those name brand players will also provide guest commentary when the hour-long episodes explode into the world of televised poker.

“Tiffany Michelle and Maria Ho are fan favorites after playing a few HPT events.  We’re looking forward to seeing them more often, as well as other members of Team UB,” said HPT Executive Producer and Co-founder Greg Lang.

Put on Your Television Poker Face

The Heartland Poker Tour is available in over 100 million U.S. households in addition to widespread distribution throughout Europe and the Caribbean. Episodes air weekly on a syndicated network of stations available in nearly every American household, including national distribution through DirecTV and DISH Network. Check for the HPT Season 7 episode guide and broadcast schedule.

Heartland Poker Tour Stops

Confirmed for 2011, the tour stops include casinos in Nevada, Florida, Michigan, Indiana, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Iowa.  There will be hundreds of players at every leg of the tour competing for six highly prized seats at the televised final table - and the money.  One must never forget the gold waiting at the end of the rainbow, and in this case it may be green instead of gold but the first place prizes are typically in excess of $100,000.
