Poker Royalty Signs Scott Clements

Poker Royalty, acclaimed throughout the poker industry as the leading representation agency for poker players, has some of the biggest names in poker, celebrities and pros, in their stable and they've just added one more, Scott Clements. Clements is now under the exclusive worldwide management and marketing representation of Poker Royalty across all major platforms; those include sponsorship, licensing, commercial endorsements, media, and appearances.

“I am very excited about working with Poker Royalty,” said Clements. “They have the best players in the industry, and it is an honor to be alongside them.”

Clements is a former mortgage broker from Mount Vernon, Washington, but after claiming his first victory in the 2005 Harrah's Lake Tahoe $1K No Limit Holdem Event, his future path changed. He has cashed in 75 events, amassing over $4.4 Million in career tournament winnings, has won two WPT Championship events, and claimed two WSOP bracelets - the first in 2006 in the $3,000 Omaha Hi/Lo event, and the second in 2007 in the $1,500 Pot Limit Holdem event. Recently Scott took down the 2010 WPT Festa al Lago $1,000 No Limit Holdem event and finished in 18th place in the 2010 WSOP Main Event.

“We are extremely pleased to have Scott as a Poker Royalty client,” said James Sullivan, President of Poker Royalty.  “Scott is a consistent player with an impressive list of accomplishments, and we anticipate he will be of great interest to companies and brands that want to associate with a proven winner.”

Brian Balsbaugh founded Poker Royalty in 2003 and the company, based in Las Vegas, handles sponsorships, appearances, media sales, endorsements, and licensing and consulting agreements for poker players.  Poker Royalty represents the most talented and marketable professional poker players, including World Series of Poker Main Event Champions Phil Hellmuth, Scotty Nguyen, Juan Carlos Mortensen, Johnny Chan, and Doyle Brunson, along with former World Series of Poker Player of the year, Erick Lindgren, and many more big names like Daniel Negreanu, Jennifer Harman, Gavin Smith, David Williams, Lacey Jones, Gus Hansen, Tom Dwan, Patrik Antonius, and Prahlad Friedman, to name a few.

Clements will be managed by James Sullivan in the Poker Royalty Las Vegas office.
