Boost Casino Business With Legal Internet Gaming

A panel addressing an Internet Gambling conference in Las Vegas on Tuesday said online casinos would enhance business at brick and mortar casinos instead of cannibalizing them. The panelists are three Las Vegas industry executives and made their remarks on the first day of the two-day iGaming North America - a conference that addressed aspects of Internet gambling.  the conference was attended by more than 300 people at the Monte Carlo.

PokerStars Up and Running After OIJ Raid in Costa Rica

The Judicial Investigation Organization (OIJ) in Costa Rica raided the offices of PokerStars, Absolute and UB Poker, and while some PokerStars employees were sent home temporarily, they returned within a few hours. The Costa Rican news outlet Teletica said six offices and residential homes were raided - catch the video of the OIJ busting through the doors of the offices here.  The raid is believed to be a response to problems experienced by other local companies in the same industry.  Catch PokerStars Steve's reports here and here.
