There are many reasons PokerStars is the biggest and most popular online poker room in the world and one of the reasons is that they are constantly improving by offering exciting new tournaments and promotions. To prove it they have just announced two new exciting tournaments and one of them has a Million Dollar Guarantee!

Everyone knows that Sunday is the biggest tournament day of the week at PokerStars, with a wide range of events with buy-ins from $11 to $530 and Guarantees up to $1 Million. All the tournaments have two things in common – they are all No Limit Texas Hold em events and they all award huge prize pools. Now PokerStars has added a new event to their already phenomenal Sunday tournament lineup – The Sunday Cubed!

Geared for players who can’t afford the higher buy-in Sunday tournaments, the new Sunday Cubed event has a very affordable $55 buy-in with one optional rebuy and add-on. The newest Sunday offering will make its debut on July 31st at 05:00 EDT which makes it ideal for players in Central Europe and eastwards, especially Asia, Australia and New Zealand. And get this – it will have a huge $50,000 Guaranteed prize pool! If $55 is still a little steep for your poker budget, PokerStars will run cheap satellites to this tournament all week long! To find the new Sunday Cubed tournament, go to the lobby and look under the "Tourney" and "Regular" tabs.

The next new tournament is something really special – The Red Spade Open.

Also featuring a very affordable $55 buy-in and a No Limit Hold em format, this tournament is a little different than the Sunday Cubed. For one thing there are no re-buys, and for another, the Red Spade Open will be held one day only – Sunday, July 31st at 15:00 ET (21:00 CET).

The Red Spade Open is named after the little red spades that appear beside each PokerStars pros' name when they are in a game. The reason for the name is; this tournament will feature a roster of PokerStars pros that will all have a $100 bounty on their heads. And if all that wasn’t exciting enough, this one time event will have a massive $1,000,000 prize pool with the winner walking away with at least $200,000 in prize money!

PokerStars wants to make sure everyone can afford to play in the Red Spade Open, so they have scheduled a vast selection of satellite qualifiers that run around the clock starting at just $1.10. Find the satellites and the Red Spade Open in the PokerStars lobby under the ‘Tourney’ and ‘Special’ tabs or type ‘Red’ into the tourney filter to see all Red Spade Open tournaments.

There will be plenty of PokerStars pros on hand so be sure to look for the ‘Red Spade’ beside their names. Who knows, you may find yourself facing off against one of this year’s five World Series Of Poker bracelet winners; ElkY, Jason Mercier, Andre Akkari, Maxim Lykov or Eugene Katchalov!

Don’t miss the new $50K GTD Sunday Cubed and the $1 Million Red Spade Open, both taking place on Sunday, July 31st – only at PokerStars!
