No one in the poker world has more fun than Tony G and you know it if you follow him on poker on TV and read his blog. Tony had a few things to say about his opponents in Party Pokers Premier League Poker Mixed Game Championship. Of course you can read all of Tony's verbal flogging on his blog but here are a few that we really like:

  • Luke Schwartz – still needs a trike and not a bike. I have taken all Bordy’s money – no harm in taking more!
  • Mike Sexton – a legend, he’s got gamble but I am going to punish him for failing to secure the delivery of the wine pallets he ordered on our extensive tour of vineyards at WPT Slovakia.
  • Andy Frankenberger – smart guy but you cannot run good forever – you know i was a forex trader once Andy?

The Premier League started yesterday, November 13th, and runs through November 17th. Look for Tony to blog about the competition.

World Poker Tour Five Diamond World Poker Classic

World famous Bellagio hosted the first World Poker Tour almost 10 years ago - Five Diamond World Poker Classic - and the tournament was a complete success and a breath of air in bringing poker into everyone's home. John Juanda, Freddy Deeb, Scotty Nguyen, and champion Gus Hanson became instant poker stars. The Five Diamond World Poker Classic has continued as one of the most prestigious tournaments held every year since.

Bellagio hosts the Five Diamond World Poker Classic from December 6th to December 11th and the best place in the world for you to vie for a WPT tournament package is, of course, Party Poker. At least one $14,000 Package is guaranteed each Sunday and there are qualifiers for the event during the week. When you win your way to Bellagio at PartyPoker, you'll win the $10,300 Main Event buy-in; 7 nights at the luxurious Bellagio; and $2,000 in spending money.

Antonio Esfandiari took down the Five Diamond event last year and banked $870,000 for his first place finish out of a 437-player field; play the Five Diamond World Poker Classic this year and you may find him at your table.
