The second $15,000 Carbon Poker League VIP freeroll ended with a bang as the winner of the last Freeroll and the league leader xxMTVxx once again scored a big finish and not only remained in the top league position, but also significantly extended his lead. xxMTVxx has now 220 points whereas his closest opponent, kondor12001, is behind by 100 points with 120. In fact, it was kondor12001 who won last week's VIP freeroll and immediately swooped into 2nd place on the player leaderboard.
kondor12001 actually followed his opponent's xxMTVxx's footsteps who also made his way to the top spot of the leaderboard after winning the VIP freeroll and collecting 120 points along with the biggest share of the $1,000 added prize pool. Will kondor12001 be able to keep up with xxMTVxx and collect another huge lump of points in the next big event? We'll just have to wait and see.
Here are the current $15,000 Carbon Poker League leaderboard standings
Although the two VIP freerolls have already taken place, there are still many tournaments to come in the $15,000 Carbon Poker League which means you have plenty of chances to start playing, collect points, and be among the top 30 players to play the Big Final event in January.
Every Tuesday you can play the $3.00 + $0.50 ($50 USD added) league event rewarding cash prizes as well as league points as shown in the table below. You can also take part in the $5.00+$1.00 ($100 added) league event running every Friday that gives away two times more league points and even bigger cash prizes.
League Point Payout Structure
The top 30 players on the player leaderboard at the end of promotion will receive tickets to the Big $15,000 Carbon Poker League Final event on January 8th, 18:00 GMT (11:00 PDT). The final tournament will give away the $15,000 prize pool to the top 15 players which means you will have a 50% chance of getting away with cash in your account if you're among those to play the final tournament.
The Big Final BIG Payout
The next and the last of the VIP freerolls will be held just after Christmas on December 29th, rewarding many more points than the regular tournaments. If you want to play the big freeroll you just need to collect 50 VIP points and you're good to go. Plus the free tournament also has $1,000 added to the prize pool.
