Today is the last day for you to play the $10,000 PokerStars PokerWorks League event and win your seat at the League Final event. The 10th and last of the $10,000 League tournaments, the $3+$0.3 No-Limit Heads-Up ($100 added) event takes place today, December 14th at 21:00 EDT (02:00 GMT). Although it's the final league event, you still have the chance to earn enough points and finish among the top 27 players all of whom will receive tickets to the $10,000 League Final event.

Currently ahead in the $10,000 PokerStars PokerWorks League player leaderboard is AJEI who will most likely keep the #1 position after the last tournament with 90 league points. AJEI took down two league events in a row in Weeks 7 and 8 and added another 3rd place finish last week.

The final $10,000 PokerStars League event will be played by 27 players who collected the most league points and despite the fact that today's event is the last before the $10K final, you still have the chance to qualify and play for your share of the big prize pool.

lariam holds down 27th place with 21 points before the last league event. Given that the amount of points rewarded for the 1st place finish in tonight's $3+$0.3 No-Limit Heads-Up ($100 added) tournament is 20, it would seem that there's zero chance for you to qualify for the top 27 if you haven't yet scored any league points. However, that is not true.

Don't think that just because it's late in the league that it's too late to start playing. You can pick up double points when you pick the remaining tournament as your Wild Card tournament and earn double points for placing in the tournament. Just go to PokerWorks Face Book page and scroll the posts for the League event. Leave your player ID name and the league event of your choice in a comment. By doing so you will receive a double amount of points, should you score any and therefore winning tonight's tournament would give you not 20, but 40 points, and that's good enough for the 7th place in the player leaderboard!

The $10,000 PokerStars PokerWorks League final event will give away a prize pool of $10K to the top 18 players of the tournament giving you huge odds of cashing out should you qualify. Below is the prize pool table.
